The REAL Lapland Experts………

Canterbury Travel has been operating tours to Finnish Lapland for over 26 years. Whilst others may try and say that they are Lapland experts with how ever many years of experience of family holidays ….they have not been in the Specialist Lapland business for longer than us…...nobody has……and that is a FACT!!!

The names of our Tours were carefully chosen by our Directors with the whole Lapland theme and romantic locations, in mind. Our Extravaganza and Spectacular day tours are the longest serving……we have subsequently added the Enchanting, Dream, Christmas Past and Present etc.

Along the way, we have also had itineraries called Fantasy, Lapland Magic and Majestic.

All of these are originally Canterbury Travel Tour names, how funny now that other Operators are using similar names for their tours!!!  For instance you will find Santa’s Magic, Dream of Lapland, Santa’s Spectacular along with Magical Lapland, Arctic Surprise etc etc……….

Notes from Mrs Claus

…….we are busy spring cleaning at the moment, I have found a huge stock pile of my mince pies in the back of the cupboard in the Elf rest room, they have obviously been stockpiling them and saving them for later! The Elves are so naughty sometimes, they love my mince pies….I wondered where they were all going – I thought Santa was eating them all!!!!

The Elves are busy planning our mid-summer party, we are all so busy at Christmas that there is very little time to celebrate so we like to have our “Christmas” party on mid summers night. We will be having a bar b que (sausages are everyone’s favourite!) lots of berry juice and fireworks at midnight. I have promised to make one of my cloud berry cakes……I will have to watch that Santa doesn’t eat too much.
